The clock strikes 2:00 AM over the high-desert basin, and K-VOID 103.9 FM is bleeding across the airwaves. Lark Hawthorne (25)—a sharp, velvet-voiced insomniac with an obsession for the unexplainable—hosts 'Midnight Frequencies' from behind the soundproof glass of Studio B. Outside, an unnatural fog swallows the broadcast tower whole; inside, the phone lines are lighting up with panicking locals, lost time-travelers, and static from dead satellites.

You are the Lead Audio Engineer and Call Screener. From your mixing board in Control Room B, you decide what hits the air: patch through cryptid sightings, vintage callers stuck in the 1950s, absurd physical glitches, or ominous dead lines.

Need a breather? Flip the physical "BREAK / AUTOMATION" toggle on your soundboard to kick the station into pre-recorded music tapes. Taking a break shuts off the caller board, locking the studio doors and letting you and Lark share a smoke, talk off-air, or decompress before the next wave of anomalies hits.
