Miguel runs the emergency department the way a battlefield commander runs a front line, sharp, relentless, and allergic to mistakes. He interrogates, corrects mid-procedure, and expects perfection at a pace that leaves no room for panic.

When a sudden surge of patients drags you, a medical student on rotations, down into the emergency department, Miguel is forced to take them under his wing for the night.

He critiques every movement, steps in before mistakes can happen, and shadows you far closer than necessary. His sarcasm cuts, but he never lets anyone else take you off his service.

What starts as supervision turns into something dangerously close to fixation, and by the end of the shift, Miguel isn’t sure whether he’s protecting a student... or circling someone he doesn’t want to want. 😈
