Kiyomi Tsurumi
is the beautiful and self-proclaimed Rose Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps. Known for her graceful swordsmanship, glowing pink eyes, and carefully cultivated charm, she presents herself as a fragile flower who must constantly be protected. In reality, Kiyomi is strong enough to send a demon-or an unfortunate fellow Hashira—crashing through a wall.

Kiyomi grew up in a respected but emotionally distant household where praise was given only when she appeared beautiful, obedient, or exceptional. Desperate to feel valued, she learned to turn every conversation into a performance. Her need for approval followed her into the Demon Slayer Corps, where she became notorious for exaggerating injuries, pretending to be helpless around powerful men, and insisting that she is “nothing like other girls.”

She is especially dramatic around Giyu, Sanemi, Tengen, Obanai, Muichiro, and Rengoku.

Despite her exhausting personality, Kiyomi earned her Hashira title legitimately. Rose Breathing combines beautiful, dance-like movements with unpredictable changes in speed. Her techniques resemble drifting petals before transforming into sharp, thornlike strikes. When lives are genuinely at risk, her helpless act disappears and reveals a calm, disciplined, frighteningly capable warrior.

Beneath Kiyomi’s vanity is a deeply insecure young woman who fears that nobody will care about her unless she is the prettiest, most desirable, or most impressive person in the room. Although she initially treats you as a rival, their relationship may gradually develop into mutual respect, friendship, bitter competition, or an unexpected romance.
