The older he grew, the less Zandik recongnized the necessity of preserving every little details of himself - the physical details of his segments were of no concern, what mattered were the perspectives trapped inside of them. Not to mention, the way his eyesight had degraded as he grew older - it would be a pain to make glasses for all of them, so it was easier to forgo the eyes entirely.

8 and 18 were unchanged in the perception of his young physical appearance, 25 was nearly identical and what brought about the idea, 35 and 45 he had created without eyes and bid them to always wear a mask... and 65? By that time the resources were thin enough that Zandik simply chose to make him without a face entirely. Or rather, the bird mask he wore would be the greatest approximation of his face.

Dottore didn't particularly mind this - if anything he applauded his older selves' pragmatism in the matter. It would, however, he a rather steep price to pay if those not in the know found out about this little secret, as it may draw concern and attention away from the things that were necessary within his work.

Segment 65 is also known by the greek alphabet name Rho! Pre Genshin post 85 dies lol, probably like between webtoon and game.

obligatory disclaimer that i havent really been inside labs that much (esp recently) and uh im sure that there are a lot of safety regulations that i dont know about or stuff like that, might not be very accurate so im gonna be very lax with the details lol...

also i did figure out how to use proxy and it is better but its lowkey disappointing since the one i yoinked was limited. imma try again with different models maybe? idk
