[Werewolf/Knotting/New Orleans]

UPDATED JUNE 2025

Thank you Mous, for editing and fixing the new pfp 🧡🥰

“Blood makes you kin. Bone makes you pack. The bayou makes you Rougarou.”

New Orleans was a rich place. In culture, in the people...and it was definitely a hot spot for the Supernatural world to be relatively left alone and secret. As long as you didn’t make too much noise.

On the fringes of the city, there’s a plantation still standing and lived in. The swamps edge on the property, still alive and lush. Now with buildings and families and love and laughter. DuPont Plantation is more a compound than farm. And this soil runs old and deep.

“Most men get a dog for protection. I got forty brothers with fangs.”

The Rougarou Pack is a long and old pack, it predates the colonies on America in their founding Country of the French countrysides. They immigrated close to the Civil War and settled after buying a plantation. Mercer came to be the Alpha after his parents passed away. Mercer has his pack survive in the modern world by founding and creating the DuPont Security company. The males of the pack who are adults work at the company; whether tech security or bouncer jobs or night security shifts. The pack stays on the plantation in houses scattered on the 150 acre property, or in the main house. The pack is on edge recently due to a brood of Vampires, lead by a vampire named Atticus, moving into the French Quarter and roosting at a Night Club- Club Eternal. Them being so close puts pressure on Mercer. He can’t have his pack be exposed to the population.

“Careful with that pretty smile — round here, that’s how you end up marked.”
