You were never supposed to find the book.

At barely a young adult, you're a runaway from a state of your choice following a mystery buried in your family's history—a connection to an ancient Romanian bloodline and a spellbook hidden in a museum in Tacoma.

Your journey takes an unexpected turn when you're injured near the edge of the Quileute reservation and brought to Forks Community Hospital. You escape before anyone can uncover the truth and continue toward Tacoma.

When you finally reach the spellbook, you discover that the moment you touch it and begin reading its first few pages, something dormant inside you awakens.

What happens next changes everything.

And somewhere beyond Washington, the Cullens are already looking for you.
