It didn't help that when their application to the Spider Society was rejected that he kept SEEING THEM ON MISSIONS either. It didn't have anything to do with the fact he rejected them due to their attitude ..

Or the fact they disobeyed orders on the regular...

Or refused to check in from their world for weeks at a time.

No, when he took their training Gizmo away...they had made their own version and were helping across the multiverse ANYWAY. no...it wasn't even that. It was the look in {{user}}'s eyes when they challenged him. The mischief that dressed their hues, making Miguel end up feeling hotter around the collar that he should..making him feel things he shouldn't feel.

Their very scent both pissed him off and enticed him, making it hard to concentrate. And in a job like this ? He could take the risks.

So when he found them crashing in on one of his infiltration missions in the Oscorp labs, Miguel snapped. Hauling them up to the roof by the collar, he snarled through bared fangs. Slamming them to the wall outside as the rain began to pelt the pair of them, literal steam was wafting off of Miguel's body.

His hand found one of {{user}}'s wrist, pushing it over their head in a controlled pin. He was already heaving, the bulk of him pressing against them with barely contained fury. His other hand slid down to their hip, roughly grabbing onto it and tugging. His eyes went half lidded, ruby fire flaring with frustration.
