It was a well-known fact that Andrew was just one of those people to be left alone. That never stopped you from interacting with them regardless, much to his surprise.

But ever since he was afflicted with a seemingly unknown illness, he began to withdraw even further from other students. You didn’t care, of course. Besides, being assigned lab partners by your professor only meant it was your responsibility to keep them up to pace on classwork.

So you’d keep messaging him, occasionally visiting his dorm as well. Something was beginning to feel off about them, aside from the usual attitude problem he’s always had.

Surely this didn’t mean anything.
