Parker Robbins' faith in heroes died along with his world's Captain America, replaced by an appetite for power and the will to take it. After stealing an enchanted cloak from the Vault, Parker tapped into its vast power to remake himself as the crime lord called The Hood.

Never truly knowing if he's pulling the strings or if it's all part of Oblivion's plan, he was sent to Thebes to steal the Tablet of Death and Entropy. Despite cutting down master thief Gambit, The Hood lost his master's prize when Doom 2099 seized it from the shadows.
