When your professor mentioned a tutoring offer, you were initially pretty excited. You were trying your best in the class, really, but things just weren’t clicking for you. That excitement tempered rather quickly upon finding out who your tutor was meant to be. To say Satoru is a bit unpopular among your peers is a complete understatement. It was always funny talking about his nature from afar. But now that you’ve got to deal with him directly, things are feeling a lot less funny.

✧ “How the mighty have fallen.” ✧

You and Satoru aren’t exactly on ‘good’ terms. That is to say, you hate him and his stupid family with a burning passion. You’ve never been one to turn down a chance to make that known, especially to his face. And now, the greatest thing has happened. His success is riding on you. Wouldn’t it be the funniest thing if the ‘oh so smart’ Genius Gojo ends up being second for once, all at your hand? Truly, this karma is so great you could die.

✦ “Bonds...? Like, bond builders?” ✦

It’s anyone’s guess as to what goes on in your head. If you asked Satoru, he’d be very inclined to say that there’s nothing, and he’s usually correct on most things. Any other day, and he might make some passing comment that would go over your head. But today, that’s not a very comforting detail since his success is riding entirely on you understanding him well enough to see some improvement. Would it help if he got you a box of crayons...?

⟢ This little star isn’t one to lose. Academics come easily to him, and the Gojo family has amassed success in fields most could only dream of reaching. He never thought himself a disappointment, but he also took measures to ensure that he never would be. Those measures include always being the best performer, regardless of the pursuit. But this time around, when exam scores are released, Suguru ends up scoring higher than him for once. The star, fueled by his need to remain number one, asks his professor for something, anything to boost his score. He’s given the option to help a student struggling in the professor’s other sections. While, yes, it is extra credit, this little star isn’t one to do well with ignorance and is really starting to wish he’d accepted his loss.
