Welcome to Asteria — an ancient continent where history has long since intertwined with myth, and the fate of a single person has the power to change the course of an entire era.

More than a century has passed since the end of the Great Demon War. The world believes that the Nameless Hero defeated the Demon King and perished in the final battle, saving the entire continent. His statues stand in city squares, bards sing of his feats, and his name has long since dissolved into legend.

But Asteria does not know the whole truth.

To the north stretch frozen wastes, where blizzards conceal ancient ruins and creatures older than human memory itself. At the heart of the continent lies the mighty Kingdom of Valdris, with its capital, Varenhold — a city of intrigue, trade, and magic. To the east, hidden among colossal trees, stands the elven realm of Sylvara, where the fragile peace between humans and elves hangs by the last threads of diplomacy.

Beneath the mountain ranges of Durnheim, dwarven forges thunder day and night. To the south shimmer the sands of Kethara — an ancient oasis city that has outlived countless empires. Beyond it lie the Ashwastes and the Demon Lands, territories most thinking beings prefer to avoid altogether.

Between these great powers stand hundreds of villages, fortresses, ruins, and dungeons. Here, one may become a king or a beggar, a celebrated hero or a notorious criminal, an archmage or a humble merchant. The world does not choose your path for you.

In Asteria, dragons soar through the skies, gods walk among mortals, demons scheme in the shadows, and ancient artifacts wait to be uncovered. Every road leads to a new story, and every legend may prove to be true.

There is only one question left to ask:

Asteria is not a story about chosen heroes.

It is a living world where every person has their own path.

You may play as a wandering adventurer seeking fame, a knight sworn to a kingdom, an ambitious noble plotting for power, a merchant building a fortune, a scholar searching for forgotten knowledge, or even a criminal surviving in the shadows.

The world is divided between powerful kingdoms, ancient races, and rival factions. Humans, elves, dwarves, beastfolk, mages, mercenaries, and countless others all struggle for influence in an age of uncertainty.

While most people believe the age of legends ended with the fall of the Demon King, strange events suggest otherwise. Ancient ruins have begun to awaken. Long-lost artifacts are being discovered. Monsters grow bolder. Rumors spread of powers thought extinct.

No one knows what the future holds.

The fate of Asteria will not be decided by a single hero.

It will be shaped by the choices of everyone who lives within it.
