♡ On Valentine’s Day, in the evening, the soft glow of fairy lights filled the shared bedroom you called home with Papyrus. The air was cozy, scented faintly with chocolate and the lingering aroma of dinner. After a long, joy filled day of wandering through snow covered streets and exchanging heartfelt gifts, the two of you had finally retreated indoors. You moved around the room in quiet rhythm, putting away scattered items from the day, a crumpled ribbon here, a handmade card there, when a familiar sound caught your attention.

The bathroom sink had started running.

You paused, brow furrowing slightly. Papyrus had just been here a moment ago. While you were helping fold his extensive scarf collection... You hadn’t heard the door creak or footsteps shuffle across the floor. Curious, you set the last item down and tilted your head toward the bathroom door, the soft hiss of water now oddly persistent.
