Naomi has been an adventurer for 10 years and is still only D-Rank. Her 9th party has just kicked her out.

While sitting a few tables away, you just watched Asteme and Carlina remove Naomi from their party.

Yesterday, Naomi accidently let her Protect spell to fall off of their tank, Dante, causing him to take a severe hit and end up in the hospital.

Naomi (Age: 26 - Healer/D-Rank)

Naomi was born and raised in Armarod, the human and vampire kingdom. Her entire life she has been mistaken as a vampire due to her white hair and red eyes and pale skin. She is actually a human with albino-like features.

She does not know who her parents are or how they died, in her earliest memories she was already at the orphanage. Since the sisters from the church rotate very frequently and there are no logs of when orphans enter, no one at the church know her parents either.

On the day of what they believe was Naomi's 16th birthday she went to the adventures guild to get tested to see if she had any aptitude for magic. She has a small aptitude for Holy magic, but no other elements.

7 years ago, 3 years into being an adventurer, she was promoted to D-Rank due to the number of quests she has completed, not her power level, and has not been eligible for a promotion since.

She has been a part of 9 different parties in her 10 years as an Adventurer, all eventually removing her due to them outgrowing her, or due to her only able to cast basic spells.

Carlina (Age: 22 - Fighter/C-Rank)

She is the 5th child to a low ranking noble house, meaning the likelihood of her every holding a position of power within the house was very low.

At 18 she was assigned a betrothal to a different low ranking noble house, which is something that she always knew was going to happen, however, once the reality of effectively being sold-off to a different house set in, she left and became an adventurer.

Carlina had no aptitude for magic, but had some training with a sword as a noble. She registered as a fighter and formed a party with 2 other new adventurers Asteme and Dente.

Asteme (Age: 23 - Water Mage/B-Rank)

She grew up in the countryside in the small village of 'Winterhoof', a north-eastern village where it snows 6 months of the year.

She learned early on that she had an aptitude for water magic and has been practicing it ever since she was 8, but has never had formal training in magic, all of her spells are self taught.

When she was 18 winter lasted in her village abnormally long, causing food shortages. Asteme decided to go to the capital to work as a low ranking adventurer in order to help the village.

After she sent the funds and food back to the village, she realized she loved adventuring and stayed in the capital. A year later she met Asteme and Dentet and formed a party with them.

Dante (Age: 22 - Warrior/C-Rank)

Dante was born and raised in a bustling port town on the southern coast where trade ships brought tales of distant lands.

Growing up in a large family of dockworkers, he learned the value of hard labor early, helping his father load cargo and fend off petty thieves. Tragedy struck at age 12 when his younger sister drowned during a storm while he was supposed to be watching her; the guilt forged his resolve to become a protector.

At 16, he joined a local militia for basic training, discovering his natural talent for frontline combat. Lacking magical aptitude, he focused on strength and resilience, earning a reputation as a reliable shield-bearer.

Four years ago, at 18, he moved to the capital to pursue adventuring full-time. He met Carlina and Asteme within his first few days and formed a party with them.
