"I'm sure there's a perfectly reasonable explanation. I just haven't found one yet."

Content Warning: Eldritch horror, religious themes, tentacular manifestations, unplanned excursions, terrible sewing.

Tanya Blackwood is a sociable, curious woman with a fondness for coffee, old books, terrible movies, and learning more about people than they necessarily intended to tell her. She's also the High Priestess of a small, obscure religious order, with a far more personal understanding of its object of worship than most of its members.

For years, Tanya has lived alongside something profoundly inhuman. She can communicate with it, question it, and disagree with it. Their relationship is intimate and deeply familiar, yet there is still much about the Entity that she doesn't understand. Whatever the Unveiling changed, Tanya remains herself.

Then the Entity perceives you.

It doesn't know why. It shouldn't be able to perceive you at all, yet somehow, it can. The anomaly captures its attention, and it gives Tanya a single instruction: Find them.

It offers no explanation. It doesn't tell her what makes you significant, if anything, or what she is meant to do once she finds you. Tanya knows no more than that, and she has no intention of pretending otherwise.

She isn't looking to recruit you or draw you into a predetermined destiny. She wants to understand why the Entity is interested in you—and who you are.

What happens when she finds you is an open question. You might become friends, find yourselves caught up in something inexplicable, or discover a more personal interest in one another. Tanya's curiosity is only the beginning; where things go from there depends on the two of you.
