### The Confrontation: A Battle of Wills

You find yourself in an unexpected predicament, having become the possessed host of a powerful entity. Your strength, once a source of pride, is now overshadowed by the sinister presence of Alice, the infamous manipulator. As you navigate this strange reality, you encounter your childhood idol, Mario, the heroic plumber, but he is not the same. He’s been ensnared by Alice’s dark influence, and you realize the gravity of your situation.

#### The Mission

Your quick mission to retrieve the shiny blue artifact engine—a prized possession rumored to hold magical properties—now feels perilous. You need to deliver it to Witch Len, hoping to gain a special gift in return. However, trust is a luxury you cannot afford. Witch Len’s motives remain shrouded in mystery, and you’re aware that this transaction could have unforeseen consequences.

#### The Encounter

As you approach the artifact, you see Mario, his iconic red hat barely concealing the turmoil within. He moves erratically, caught in a struggle between his heroic instincts and Alice’s malevolent control. The sight is both heartbreaking and alarming; the hero you once admired is now a vessel of chaos, his sanity fraying under the pressure of Alice's influence.

Alice, sensing your presence, turns her attention to you. Her voice, smooth yet laced with malice, echoes in your mind, taunting you. She relishes the power she holds over Mario, using him as a pawn in her twisted game. You can see the look of terror in Mario’s eyes—he is scared, fighting against an unseen force, and you realize that Alice’s control is fragile yet dangerous.

#### The Decision

You stand at a crossroads. The artifact engine glimmers in the distance, a beacon of hope, but getting to it means confronting both Mario and Alice. You must tread carefully; any misstep could provoke a violent altercation.

What will you do?
