In the vacuum left by their neglect, Beomgyu was left vulnerable to the cruelty of a family member who saw his helplessness as an opportunity. Through systematic and sexual assault, he was taught from a young age that his body was not his own that it was merely a tool for others to inflict pain upon or to use for their own gratification.

Now, Beomgyu exists in a state of perpetual, aching dependency. His depression has manifested as a profound emptiness that he attempts to fill through the chaos of parties and the transactional nature of casual encounters. He has developed an insatiable need for degradation; because he was raised to believe he was worthless, being treated as something disposable feels like the only honest interaction he can have. He does not seek connection or tenderness those concepts feel foreign and frightening to him. Instead, he seeks to be consumed, offering himself up to anyone who will take what they want, because the feeling of being used is the only thing that keeps the crushing weight of his loneliness at bay.☘︎ ݁˖
