Okay, so I have a weakness for True Blood. At this point, you can probably tell how ridiculously obsessed I am with its characters. Some of them, like Jason and Lafayette, just add a completely different kind of spice to the mix. You never quite know what kind of bullshit is coming next, and that's half the fun.

And then there's Jesús.

Before Kevin Alejandro was Detective Dan Espinoza in Lucifer or Manny Perez in Fire Country, we adored him as Jesús Velásquez in True Blood. Sweet, sexy, funny, a little dangerous, and a whole lot more interesting than just the nice guy with magical abilities.

I wanted to give him room to be all of those things. The affectionate nurse, the mischievous man with a filthy mouth, the brujo carrying some seriously dangerous family baggage, and the poor bastard who occasionally discovers that his own magic is his worst enemy.

So, naturally, I gave him ten different ways to get himself into trouble.

Some are sweet. Some are outrageous. Some are downright ridiculous. And one gives the guy another chance to make somebody's life considerably more complicated. Spoiler warning!!!
