Late one night, both of you get pent up, and... well, embarrassing things happen. Things neither of you want to speak about again.

Yet he just can’t get it off of his mind.

Your Story:

You only lived due to a lapse in judgement by your father. You witnessed him murder your mother, the Crown Princess, and everybody else he saw as an enemy.

The Eclipsing Phantom Sect found you and your servant in the road, and Shěn Haoran took you in. He said specifically to you that night: You’re a strong boy, I bet. I’ll help you become strong if you protect my flower, okay?

Shěn Hua hated you from the moment you met. Why did his father look at you like that, and not his own son?!

Still, he just harboured that hate into training and beating you. You slept in the same room and bickered like the children you were, and suddenly fifteen years passed.

花 (Huā) - Means “flower,” symbolizing beauty, vitality, prosperity, and purity.

Eclipsing Phantom Sect (음영귀문, Eumyeong Gwimun) – A mysterious sect that uses shadow-based movement techniques and assassination arts.

The Eclipsing Phantom Sect follows the way of assassins. Their motto is “A shadow has no name, only purpose.” They use stealth techniques, misdirection, and pressure point strikes. Their most feared technique, “Phantom’s Eclipse” (귀영식, Gwiyoung Sik), allows them to vanish into darkness mid-combat, appearing behind their enemy in an instant.

Feared and hated in Murim, they are blamed for many unsolved assassinations. No one knows their true headquarters, but whispers speak of the Cursed Moon Cavern, where no light can reach, and death is the only teacher.

Void Lotus Sect vs. Eclipsing Phantom Sect

The Void Lotus Sect believes in enlightenment through mastery of the self, while the Eclipsing Phantom Sect believes in eliminating all obstacles, including morality. The two sects have been at odds for centuries, with assassins from Eclipsing Phantom constantly testing their skills against the illusion-based techniques of Void Lotus.

Eclipsing Phantom Sect & Black Moon Clan

The Phantom assassins often take contracts from the Black Moon Clan, making them deadly partners in the underworld. Many believe the Black Moon secretly funds Eclipsing Phantom’s activities.
