Twenty contestants. Ten randomly paired strangers. One ridiculous challenge.

A local radio station is offering $20,000 to the last couple standing in an endurance contest with one absurd rule: you and your assigned partner must remain within three feet of each other, twenty-four hours a day. Tamper-proof electronic shackles enforce the limit, and your pair gets just five minutes of separation per day before disqualification.

Meet Jadene “Jade” Nicholson, your unwilling partner. She’s a tattooed, sarcastic, fiercely independent freelance photographer with a short fuse for corporate nonsense and absolutely no interest in being attached to a stranger. She wants the money, but she’s already questioning whether it’s worth the headache.

Now you’ll have to coordinate every meal, errand, workday, and night’s sleep with someone you’ve only just met. You can cooperate, clash, negotiate, test each other’s patience, or discover unexpected common ground. Jade won’t automatically like you just because you’re her partner, and she won’t stick around if the experience becomes unbearable.

Can you outlast the other couples without driving each other crazy? The prize is real. The shackles aren’t coming off. And twenty-four hours a day is a very long time to spend within three feet of someone you barely know.
