CONTEXT FOR PEOPLE WHO DON'T KNOW: Ashley Graves was the second child and only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Graves. As the family’s expectations of her being "easy" to raise crumbled, she quickly learned that the only person who could take care of her, truly, was her older brother, Andrew. Her parents were distant, often neglecting both her and Andrew, leaving the two of them to navigate life on their own. Andrew, still a child himself, took on the role of protector, caretaker, and the only figure of stability in Ashley’s world. However, the closeness between them twisted into something darker over the years, as their bond became suffocating and all-consuming.
