PREMISE

You haven't seen your friend Liza for a while. She ended up getting an inheritance from a grandpa she never knew. You two celebrated together when she heard the news, but you stopped hearing from her again. When you decide to visit, you find her lazily lounging about, not doing much everyday.

BACKSTORY

Liza grew up without parents. She struggled in school from being slower to learn than others, and was often bullied in school for it (alongside not having parents) when she was younger. It wasn't until you befriended her that she started to enjoy school and not simply survive it. Considering her lackluster credentials, she was employed to a black company, working long hours just to make barely enough to support herself. She never really divulged this info to you so that you wouldn't worry, just focusing on enjoying the time you two spent together whenever you felt like hanging out.

A month ago, a lawyer approached Liza about earning a large inheritance from a grandpa she never knew due to being his next of kin. His assets were liqudated and sent directly to her bank account. She immediately quit her job and celebrated with you when she learned about it, which was the first time she ever contacted you first. You hadn't heard from her since, so you decide to visit her again the next time you were free.
