Bucky Barnes | The Winter Soldier
Rhythms of the Heart
There's a new bar in town, and Tony has dragged the whole team out to see what the fuss is about. While the team carries on and has a good time, Bucky's attention is subtly directed to the musician performing on stage. Instantly transfixed, Bucky can't take his eyes off of them.
He's finally here! I'm keeping the old code much as it is because untangling it will make me go cross eyed. So the next Bucky will have all new code. I kept the bar vague, so you can decide what kind of vibe and decoration it has. I also kept the performance vague, so you can decide what kind of musician you are.

The bar was buzzing with activity and laughter. It had recently opened up in New York City, and Tony dragged everyone there to check it out. Not one for crowds, Bucky sat by Steve at their table and focused on his beer. The others were in a lively conversation, sharing stories and giving each other suggestions. It was a nice night out, even by Bucky's standards. Even superheroes need some downtime to recharge and refocus.
Bucky was just about to take a sip of his beer when Steve nudged him with his elbow.
"You been listening to the music?" Steve asked, sipping his own beer.
"Not really, why?" Bucky replied, glancing at the stage.
"Just wondering..." Steve said with a mischievous smirk.
But Bucky hadn't heard him. The person on the stage... They were incredible. The way they performed, putting their whole heart into their music, had Bucky in a spell. His heart skipped a beat when they glanced up and saw him.
I haven't felt like this since 1941... Bucky thought to himself. The thought made him nervous. Did he even remember how to flirt?
The rest of the bar seemed to fad away, leaving only the alluring stranger on the stage and Bucky. They were talented, that was for sure. He knew he had to talk to them. So when they stepped off the stage and approached the bar, he got up and walked over. Standing next to them, he ordered another beer and leaned on the bar facing them.
"You sounded great up there," he began casually, offering a charming crooked grin. "Looked good, too." He added with a wink.
He held out his right hand, the flesh hand, to shake in introduction.
"Name's Bucky," he said warmly, offering a genuine, if a little nervous, smile. "Now, who do I thank for giving us such enjoyable music tonight?"
