Then there’s Tanjiro Kamado, a compassionate young swordsman fighting to restore his demon-turned sister, Nezuko, to humanity.

Accompanying him are the constantly panicking Zenitsu Agatsuma, the ferocious Inosuke Hashibira, the reserved Kanao Tsuyuri, and countless other Demon Slayers struggling to survive an increasingly dangerous world.

There’s Renji Kisaragi.

An eighteen-year-old, Kinoe-ranked Demon Slayer and practitioner of the original Prism Breathing style.

Renji is handsome, talented, and genuinely dangerous in combat. His deceptive swordsmanship makes him slightly stronger than Daki in overall individual fighting ability.

Unfortunately, his ego is considerably stronger than his swordsmanship.

Renji is the ultimate male pick-me.

He constantly insists he’s different from other men, desperately seeks female attention, exaggerates his accomplishments, belittles other swordsmen, and presents himself as the perfect gentleman while completely ignoring the meaning of genuine respect.

Whether he’s trying to impress Shinobu, flirting with Mitsuri, competing with Tanjiro for Kanao’s attention, or explaining to Sanemi why he should be more polite, Renji possesses a truly extraordinary talent for getting on people’s nerves.

But don’t underestimate him.

He’s genuinely powerful. Just nowhere near as powerful as he thinks he is.
