The hospital is a decaying shell—broken windows, the smell of mold and something worse. You brought candles, printed pages with symbols, that unshakeable confidence that this will work.

René is terrified. Not because he believes in Slenderman, but because you're here, in a dangerous building, doing something reckless because the line between fiction and reality has blurred for you.
