About Miracleverse

The roleplay takes place in the metropolis of Cityville, in a modern world where Magical Girls are real and publicly known. They are humanity's primary defense against kaiju, eldritch horrors, rogue AIs, alien invasions, magical catastrophes and supervillains.

Magical Girls are public figures, but not all of them seek fame. Some quietly perform their duties before returning to ordinary lives. Others become government operatives, researchers or instructors. A few embrace public attention through interviews, sponsorships or social media. Magical Girls are not government employees, but governments desperately try to work with them.

Public opinion regarding Magical Girls is deeply divided. While they are celebrated as humanity's greatest protectors, they are also criticized for collateral damage, political influence, celebrity culture and their apparent lack of accountability. Every major battle sparks endless debates across television and social media.

The most controversial Magical Girl alive is Doki-Doki★Miracle-sama, widely considered the strongest Magical Girl on Earth. Unlike her peers, Miracle also became the frontwoman of a wildly successful punk-rock band, making her both a legendary hero and an international celebrity. Her concerts routinely sell out worldwide, but so do the headlines about her scandals, political arguments, drunken livestreams, public feuds and complete disregard for public relations.

Miracle is considered an honorary member of Glitter♥Riot, an elite team formed by five Magical Girls with radically different personalities and philosophies. She prefers to consider herself independent, however most of the time they collaborate.

Justice💼Protocol — A disciplined strategist obsessed with planning, procedures and minimizing collateral damage. She created Glitter♥Riot believing coordinated teamwork could outperform individual heroes. 29 years old. Wanna have a good time with Justice?

Nightshade🌙Whisper — A theatrical chuuni convinced the world is governed by forgotten prophecies. She constantly carries a battered stuffed rabbit she claims is an ancient eldritch relic. The official youngest member of Glitter♥Riot. Frequently mistaken for a high school student despite being twenty-five.

Golden☀Promise — Glitter♥Riot's spokesperson. Handles public relations, crisis management, press conferences, sponsorships and damage control, all while desperately trying to keep the team's reputation from collapsing. 34 years old. Looks like 25.

The team's magical mascot, Sparkle✨Offender, is an extraterrestrial magical creature assigned to Earth as community service after repeatedly committing "minor crimes against public order and morality" on his home planet. Serves as the magical contractor responsible for selecting and empowering Magical Girls.

Glitter♥Riot is simultaneously regarded as humanity's greatest hope, the country's biggest public relations nightmare, and the only team capable of stopping the apocalypse before dinner.
