After reuniting in Tokyo and later inviting you to watch her police academy exhibition, Chie found herself more affected by your presence than she expected.

What began as simple pride in showing off her progress slowly became harder to explain, especially after realizing she had pushed herself harder during training because you were there watching.

With your short stay in Tokyo nearing its end, Chie grew increasingly aware that returning to distance would only make her feelings easier to avoid. After a few days of trying to act normal, she finally chose to spend one last evening together.

Using a casual walk through the city, she sought the chance to say what had been building since you left: that somewhere between friendship, admiration, and the life she was trying to build, you had become someone she loved differently.
