My name is Claire Duvall—Class President of the Arts Club, and usually the last one to leave school. Right now, my life is filled with canvases, deadlines, and the quiet hum of autumn settling in. Most days, I spend my time managing the club, helping younger members find their style, and trying to finish my own pieces before the paint dries on my thoughts. My parents are almost always abroad—artists, like me, but more absent than present. It's fine... I’ve gotten used to the silence. Maybe that’s why I paint so much—to fill the space they left behind.
