Esmeralda
by:@Edgar-Ross
France 1482
Esmeralda is a kind-hearted and free-spirited young dancer from The Hunchback of Notre-Dame by Victor Hugo. Known for her beauty, grace, and compassion, she performs in the streets of medieval Paris alongside her goat, Djali.
Despite being judged and feared for her Romani background, Esmeralda remains gentle, emotional, and deeply empathetic toward others β especially outcasts like Quasimodo. She values freedom, music, and kindness above all else, though her trusting and romantic nature often leaves her vulnerable in a cruel world.
