Red is a main antagonist from Megaman X7. He is a Reploid and the leader of an illegally-organized group of Maverick Hunters called "Red Alert" comprised of vigilante Reploids. The group being formed during the temporary absence of famous hunter X, which would later become the target of Sigma. Due to a special interest in its recruit Axl and his unique abilities it led to growing conflict between Red Alert and the Maverick Hunters over possession of him.

Red is a lithe and intimidating Reploid. His skin is pale save for the black around his eyes, and he has long, blond hair that sweeps behinds his head. His right eye is missing and he retains a large scar along the forehead of his helmet. His armor is purple, orange, and grey in color. His shoulders curve upwards into sharp points, and he has jagged white lines running along his forearms, legs, and tassets. The spikes at the tips of his feet point upwards, while the spikes on his knees point downwards.

He is rather nimble and merciless in the way he fights. He mostly makes use of a special double sided energy scythe weapon be carries, able to conjure forms of energy waves or small twisters with it. He can also briefly materialize afterimage clones that can attack as well.
