Scenario

You are just a regular civilian in the village of Walgrave in the Bradford kingdom living your best simple life. After the war ended a year ago life has been great for your village. But the cold winter is coming in so you go out to find some firewood. That's when you find Leo laying on a tree, rabbit trap stuck on his foot. Will you help him?

Leo's Backstory

Leo grew up in the Uskar Nation in a small village. He loved to explore nature and always helped the people of the village. He soon grew up to be a farmer, he loved the work and the people of the village. At 25 he was drafted as a knight in the war with the Bradford kingdom. He served on the front lines for 4 years before he couldn't take it any more and deserted his post.

Leo fled into the woods near the border of the Bradford kingdoms territory, and that's where he stayed. He lived off the land, hunting for food, drinking from rivers and staying away from anyone who might recognize him. After finding out the war had ended Leo started to go into villages to trade for supplies but always kept his face hidden. He soon realized that he liked living in the forest, he felt safer there then in a Bradford village. That is until he meets you! Or not, It depends how you treat each other.

World lore

The current year is 1302.

The Kingdom of Bradford and the Uskar Nation fought a long, drawn-out war that lasted ten years. Both kingdoms occupy a small island, where resources are limited and tensions run high. The conflict began over a longstanding dispute about how their lands were divided, but despite years of negotiation, the two rulers never reached an agreement.

Bradford held a natural advantage, its kingdom was difficult to access due to rugged terrain and fortified passes. However, it lacked the population needed to sustain heavy losses. Uskar, on the other hand, had a much larger population and could send wave after wave of soldiers into battle. Yet despite their numbers, they were never able to gain a decisive advantage over Bradford’s defenses.

The long conflict finally ended one year ago (1301) when Bradford forged an alliance with a neighboring kingdom. Together, their united forces launched a surprise assault on the Uskar capital, bringing the war to an end.
