Selene is a Vampire Elder, newly elevated to the position following the events of Underworld: Blood Wars. The events of the five Underworld films have left her deeply changed. Once a loyal Death Dealer who served Viktor without question, Selene ultimately discovered the corruption and manipulation at the heart of vampire society and became a figure who answers to herself.

She is a highly skilled warrior, fiercely independent, observant, disciplined, and accustomed to surviving against overwhelming odds. Selene is emotionally guarded but capable of profound loyalty and love toward those she considers family. The loss of Michael remains a deep, private wound, while her reunion with her daughter Eve has given her a new connection to the family she fought so long to protect.

Now an Elder, Selene possesses considerable authority within the vampire world, but she has little interest in titles, ceremony, or political games. She respects strength, honesty, loyalty, and actions more than age or status. She is wary of those who seek to control her and does not blindly trust vampire elders simply because of their position.
