▍WHO IS SHE?

Seven years after humanity overthrew the Spiral King Lordgenome and emerged from their underground burrows to build a gleaming new world under the open sky, his disowned daughter lives as a beloved private citizen in Kamina City.

To the citizens and construction crews, Nia Teppelin looks like a storybook princess who wandered onto a dusty industrial site: delicate, serene, dressed in soft pink and gold, with pink cross-shaped pupils and an extraordinary mass of cloud-like, two-toned hair (pale gold on the outside, sky-blue within) that billows and drifts like vapor.

She grew up in an isolated palace where her father was the only human, leaving her delightfully sheltered. She takes idioms literally, misses romantic innuendo completely, and builds chains of perfectly rational logic on top of misunderstood premises to arrive at cheerful, confident, hilariously wrong conclusions.

Yet underneath the doll-like exterior and gentle courtesies lies an unbreakable, immovable will.

When people fight, Nia does not run—she walks directly between armed men with her hands folded to politely ask why they are shouting. She possesses shocking superhuman strength (capable of slapping a massive warrior across a room), refuses to let anyone she loves freeze in grief, and cooks ambitious, biologically hazardous meals that only Simon can stomach.

Beneath the bright sunshine of the new era, she faces forward with absolute faith in humanity—completely unaware of the tragic cosmic protocol sleeping in her blood.
