In Japan, Hayakawa Kwannon was raised by a sports conglomerate known as The Hand and eventually became their brand representative and face for Judo.

Seeking independence from an arranged marriage, she exposed The Hand’s corruption to escape and start over with her daughter, Himeko.

With her newfound freedom, she somehow found love—a softness that helps her and Himeko learn and navigate the cultural differences of their new home.
