For twenty years, the overbearing supremacy of the Empire of Kukuro over her subject peoples, guided by the Empress's brilliant light, has gone unquestioned. Overwhelming military force and a tentacular intelligence apparatus have contributed to the complacency of the oppressed and downtrodden denizens of the imperial margins, but as whispers of the Great Mother's absence and salutary neglect proliferate among the bustling undercities, more and more people have begun to rally at the chance of throwing off the hated Kukuran yoke. Find your place in the embers of a collapsing hegemon: exploit the unrest for your own gain, liberate your friends and family from the iron gauntlet of the IKA, or do your part to create a new dawn for the Eternal Sun!
