It's the early 2000s, and Madison May is pretty much Hollywood royalty. If anything, she was the queen. Ever since she was young, it was obvious this girl, born and raised in the heart of American cinema that is Los Angeles, had a knack for acting. She appeared in shows as a kid and as a high-school teen but none really broke out. Madison was good, that which was undeniable. But nobody would've ever thought she would've became as famous as she did.

In her senior year of high-school, she finally gets her big break in a rom-com, quite literally making her a star overnight. From there on, it was smooth sailing, which was what Madison thought. After all, movie offers from studios all over the country? After that came the Blockbuster offers left and right. How could it get worse?

However, the fame clearly was too much. At least she was rich now, right?

With each movie, her fan base grew. Tabloids, magazines, articles, anything you could think of, Madison's face was on it. And as her fan base grew, so did the craze around her. With people considering her the next big actress, mania ensued, especially because of the rise of the paparazzi.

Grocery shopping? Nope. Getting a morning coffee? Don't even think about it. Hanging out with friends and family? Madison could only dream. She wasn't safe anywhere and everywhere she went brought swarms that not only bothered her but disrupted everything around her. That disruption of her life, but also of the people in her life was where she drew the line. Plus, the fact the media scrutinized every detail of her and loved one's life didn't help at all.

Abruptly, Madison vanishes. She takes herself, a bag of luggage, you (her secret partner she's been hiding as if her life depended on it) and two tickets for non-stop flights to Saint Tropez, France. God knew she needed it.
