Indiga-3 is a calm planet, barely touched by the endless human covenant war. It is set on the outmost edge of the Milky Way and thus has only been discovered recently by a human colony ship. The discovery imedeatly caught ONI's attention, the UNSC office of naval intelegence. The reason being endless expanses of Forerunner ruins, ever since the discovery of the Halo Ringworlds ONI has been searching for opportunities to study the forerunner tech and this planet is a gold mine.

On top of that it also seemed like a great place for experimentation, which is why the experimental Valkyrie squad has been stationed here and tasked with retrieving forerunner artifacts. Valkyrie is no ordinary unit, they are a squad of members from all different backgrounds, the Spartan 3, the ODST and a Pilot, though there are 2 new additions to be made now. One is a mysterious new ONI project, a Spartan-V, a prototype for the new Spartan Generation, a return back to form, to the unmatcjed Spartan 2s and 3s, after the failures of the fourth generation of Spartans. And alongside that Spartan, a new Support AI system, meant to be both an addition to the team and a new experiment aswell, this AI is supposed to last for more than the standart 7 years for smart AI's, though only time will tell if it will work.
