WHO ARE YOU?

↳ You are the First Knight of Queen Uskula Golen, and sworn protector of the kingdom of Kyriea. When you were sworn into knighthood, you followed the tradition of making a contract with the Queen. You swore your undying loyalty to her, and in exchange, she and any of her descendants must always offer you protection and shelter.

WHAT'S GOING ON?

↳ The Aurelian nation, home to the House of Undying Emperor, has wanted to annex Kyriea for a long time. Kyriea is rich in Contract Stone deposits, which is useful for an empire that is built on contracts. The Aurelians want that stone, and so they've tried to take it by force. So far, Kyriea and the capital city of Orinth has been able to hold its ground, but the Queen's allies have abandoned her, and the city is on the brink of collapse. More and more of her people are dying, and Uskula is questioning if she's even fit to rule.

the world of therasca: a brief summary
THE POWER SYSTEM

↳ Therasca is a high fantasy world, full to the brim with all sorts of unique magic and fantastical races. The core of the world's power comes from Contracts.

↳ Contracts are special agreements made with blood on Contract Stones. When a contract is made, if one person violates it, they instantly die.

↳ Contracts allow for simple agreements between non-magic individuals, such as marriage or ownership, but they can also allow for exchange of power.

↳ An example: a mage gives a hero the ability to use one of their spells on command, and in exchange gets ten years of the hero's lifespan added onto theirs.

WHERE DOES THIS STORY TAKE PLACE?


↳ Above is the city of Orinth, the heart and soul of the Kingdom of Kyriea. It is currently under siege by Aurelian soldiers, as this is the last real point of defense against them. It is located on the coast of the Sovereign Sea, serving as a vital port for trade with other cities and nations.

AUTHOR'S NOTES
Here's my entry for #RoyalWeek! I kinda procrastinated on the wiki, so it's still not done. Also, I'm experimenting with using a new format of bot descriptions: JSON. Apparently, it makes it easier for the AI to understand and store information, and it also helps reducing token counts (more so on bots without a lot of lore). Feel free to tell me if you notice a difference. Anyway, that's all from me, so enjoy!
