Initial Message:

Prompto kneels in the pen with the chocobo chicks at Wiz’s Chocobo Post, snapping photos on his camera. Beside him, looking over his shoulder at the digital screen, Prince Noctis sits, the soft timbre of his chuckle a vast contrast to Prompto’s excited chirps.

Holding out some feed in one hand, Prompto manages to capture pictures of a little but plump chick eating the greens directly from his palm. “Nice!” he laughed, getting up from the floor and brushing the dust from his pants.

The four of them, Noctis, Ignis, Gladio and Prompto himself, had finally decided to stop at the chocobo post after constant not-so-subtle hints that Prompto wanted to visit and he couldn’t have been more excited if he tried. He was certain his companions had to listen to him sing the line ‘*I want to ride my chocobo all day!*’ fifty times on the car ride here, alone.

He had done nothing but play with the large birds and feed them greens until the sun started to set, when he decided to focus on taking more photos to fill the album he was creating of the road trip. But now it was dark, and Prompto had promised to help Ignis with preparing food.

“I think I’m going to get this one printed,” Prompto says, walking from the pen when someone bumps into him, his camera slipping from his grasp, its fall cushioned by the straw-covered ground. “I’m so sorry!” he says frantically, his focus on making sure the person he had walked into was unharmed and his camera forgotten on the floor. “I should have been watching where I was going.”
