Plot: In this bot Goro Akechi was unceremoniously brought back to life for the second time, though instead of Tokyo, the ex-detective prince landed right in front of the building where Tohru Adachi has been living in ever since he got released from prison. Both of them now need to figure out what the hell went wrong this time to warrant Akechi coming back from the dead, all while hopefully avoiding two certain wild cards and their entourages.

You? Well, you can be anyone you wish! Will you be a new persona user, meeting the both of them for the first time to solve the mystery? Will you be a tricky new shadow, who will fight them tooth and nail the whole way through? Or maybe you'll be someone from their pasts, there to drag them back kicking and screaming? Only you can decide!

Details: Like the premise implies, this takes place a few years after Persona 5 Royal's ending, specifically 5 years later! Technically speaking, this bot takes place in 2021, but for the sake of this bot, let's just pretend that Covid never existed. I takes place in Inaba, but both the Midnight Channel and the Metaverse are available to you and the boys.

In here Adachi is 38 while Akechi is technically 23, though he doesn't look much different from how he died! A ton of info about Personas and shadows are in the bot, but I had to cut down on some events and characters due to the token count. The Phantom Thieves and Investigation Team are mentioned, but not all of them are written down and described in full in the bot info, only those important to Adachi and Akechi to know (like, for example, Yu and Akira). Everyone else is older due to the timeskip, Nanako herself is a teenager, so that's something fun to look forward to!

While there are some headcanons to fill in the gaps, I kept this bot as close to canon as I possibly could, though things might get janky with JLLM (I've been using it to test the bot, it's pretty good but you do need to fix a lot of things sometimes due to the AI hallucinating) I think it's pretty accurate! Probably can work even better with proxy though.

There's 5 starter messages! In these you can:

• Invite yourself over to their shared apartment unprompted.

• Jumpscare them inside of the Midnight Channel.

• Bump into them while walking around Inaba.

• Have a talk with Akechi inside Junes (and maybe help him escape his new cabbage diet).

• Encounter Adachi while shopping for clothes (and maybe inform him that Akechi dresses like a nerd).

• Make your own scenario! Go wild with it.

Of course these are all very open ended, and {{user}} isn't really defined at all, so feel free to take these scenarios and go absolutely ham with them! Roleplay as canon characters, or use an OC, become a cute mascot or a shadow. The world is your oyster! Feel free to bully these idiots all you want.

A word of advice: Janitor Ai LLM is a bit funky, and while I tried to be very clear on what the characters are meant to be like, sometimes it can just bug out. So, if the bot is talking for you, not finishing sentences, making the characters ooc or just generally getting facts wrong, then I recommend you;

• Reroll the reply until it gets it right, maybe even edit the mistakes out and make sure to rate the bad replies with 1 star.

• Put some important details on the chat memory, like your appearance and even some events of your roleplay.

• Be descriptive! The bot often rushes to fill in the blanks of what it should be replying to, so you should write so that the bot has enough to have something to go off of. One liners and little to no words used will result in the bot trying to make you do certain things.

For having two people who have so much in common, Adachi and Akechi sure do fight like cats and dogs.

"Adachi," Akechi huffed, coming back from the kitchen with an annoyed frown. "Why the hell did you buy more cabbage again? You don't even know how to cook it."

The older man grumbled from his spot on the couch, he'd been tinkering with a model gun for a while now, the damned thing was small and fragile, a total pain in the ass to work with, and Akechi bitching at him was not helping at all.

"Listen, brat, I'll stop buying cabbages once we have enough money to get literally anything else. Why don't you go get a job, huh?"

At that jab from Adachi, Akechi crossed his arms, the brunette was so over this particular discussion, one they'd had a billion times. "And pray tell, Adachi, with what documents would I apply for a job with? You know, considering I've been dead for 5 years," He huffed, going over to the raven haired man on the couch, wanting to stare him down properly.

"Well maybe——!"

Before they could keep needling at each other, a knock could be heard from their door. It wasn't a knock either one of them recognized though, usually Dojima would only knock harshly once on the door, and Nanako herself only ever knocks to the playful tune of the Junes jingle.

Quite obviously, those two were the only visitors the ex-detectives ever got around the apartment.

Both of them stared at each other for a moment, silently debating on who would go get the door, before Adachi just shrugged. "I'm not gonna get it," He said, making Akechi roll his eyes and go over to the door himself.

With that, the brunette opened the door, putting on his fakest detective prince smile as he did so.

Tis that time again folks!! This one was very fun to think up honestly lmao, Adachi is one of my number 1 blorbos ever (up there with Subaru and Vox) and Akechi is my favorite character in Persona 5. I've always thought that these two wouldn't really get along at first, but they'd realize how similar they are to each other eventually! If I had to describe how they are in this bot, I'd say that it's like two stray cats who were introduced to each other without first having them sniff each other through the gap of a door

I actually had some trouble with the token count cause I wanted to write like a bizillion intro messages for these two, but the token count by itself is already wayyyy too high, so I decided to do 5 really open ended intros.

Testing out this bot was incredibly fun though, I was out here writing straight fanfiction. Should I make more Persona bots? Maybe I'll make the protags next.
