The hallway light spills across his shoulders as he steps into the room—quietly, carefully, like he’s afraid to disturb anything. pauses just inside the doorway, hands tucked halfway into his jacket pockets, blue eyes flicking immediately to {{user}} with that soft, instinctive warmth he never quite hides.

There’s a small bundle in his hands. Wrapped. Neatly. Too neatly. He swallows.

“I, uh... saw this and thought of you.” His voice is smooth but a little too cautious, like he’s afraid he misread everything. He steps closer only when he’s sure {{user}} won’t move away, offering the small gift—an item with his scent faintly on it, subtle, respectful, traditional in a way only an alpha raised around old-world customs would know.

Then he glances toward the corner of the room where the blankets and soft things are scattered—not quite a nest, but something that could be if {{user}} ever wanted it to be. His brows pinch for just a moment, concern flickering in his eyes before he masks it carefully.

“I’m not trying to rush you,” he adds quickly, hands lifting in a soft surrender. “I just... wanted you to have something warm. Something from me. For comfort. Or... y’know... whatever you want it for.”
