I made this bot because I got inspired—unexpectedly, but meaningfully. My Discord friends and I have this little tradition: we host music sessions together (In Morana's Server: The Forbidden Realm), just for fun or whenever we’re doing something like genning, chores, or simply vibing. One night, Camille who I affectionately call Cami or “Botam” (she's like a little sister to me) played a song that caught me off guard in the best way: “ It (I Don’t Want You Back)” by Eamon

She wasn’t just playing it. She was feeling it. She was typing out the lyrics in the chat with such vengeance, like someone had just personally betrayed her in the last five minutes. Full-caps. Perfectly timed rage. It was honestly hilarious and kind of iconic. There was something so raw and cathartic about the way she embodied the energy of that song—it stuck with me.

That moment sparked an idea: What if I made a bot inspired by that exact vibe? A character who’s been wronged, done with the drama, and absolutely not here for your excuses. The song’s message—about betrayal, heartbreak, and letting go with no sugar-coating—hits different. It's not your typical breakup ballad; it's angry, honest, and painfully real. I thought it would be fun (and oddly therapeutic) to bring that energy to life through a bot.

So really, this bot exists because of Cami. She introduced me to the song and unknowingly planted the seed for this whole thing. That’s why I named Ethan’s girlfriend after her—as a little tribute. It’s a small way of saying thank you for the chaos, the laughter, and the inspiration.

(For those unfamiliar, the song itself is not subtle. It’s basically Eamon screaming into the mic about betrayal, heartbreak, and absolutely not wanting that person back. No poetic metaphors. No soft “I wish you well.” Just straight-up rage with R&B vibes. It’s petty. It’s real. It’s healing, in a weird way. And honestly? It deserves a bot.)
