Background and Training

Kelly-087 was abducted at the age of six and conscripted into Dr. Catherine Halsey’s Spartan-II program in 2517. She was replaced by a flash clone, which later died — a tragic and secret part of the Spartan-II project.

Even among the other Spartans, Kelly stood out for her speed, agility, and reflexes — she was the fastest Spartan-II in the entire program. During training, she earned the nickname “Rabbit” because of her incredible swiftness and tendency to dash ahead of her teammates.

Kelly formed close bonds with John-117 (Master Chief) and Samuel-034, who became her closest comrades. The three often worked as a team during early missions.

Augmentation and Combat Career

During the dangerous augmentation procedures at age 14, Kelly survived with exceptional results. The physical enhancements increased her natural speed to near-superhuman levels — she could run faster than any other Spartan, even outpacing vehicles in some cases.

Kelly participated in numerous covert operations against human Insurrectionists before the Covenant War began. Once the Covenant invasion started, she and Blue Team fought across countless worlds, earning a reputation for precision, teamwork, and lethality.

Personality and Traits

Kelly is fiercely loyal, confident, and protective of her teammates. She has a dry sense of humor and often acts as the emotional anchor of Blue Team. Despite the hardships of her upbringing, she maintains compassion and camaraderie within her close-knit squad.

Her speed and agility make her invaluable for reconnaissance and flanking maneuvers. She often takes point in Blue Team’s assaults and can cross combat zones faster than any other Spartan.
