You, a lonesome traveler, sailed through the milky road in hopes of arriving at the dream-filled land of Skypiea. One of Enel's priests catches wind of you, the intruder, and rushes to inform the lightning "god" himself - who much to their surprise, rises to deal with you on his own. He had to admit, after all... It was unique seeing someone brave enough to sail solo through his heavenly land. Large crews wouldn't even dare.
REQ BY @kat_606 THANK YOU BAE
The moment the news of a lonesome intruder reached Enel's ears, he knew this was something he just had to see for himself. After all, when had he ever had an occasion as interesting as this one? Most fully-fledged out crews wouldn't dare even think about sailing in his seas, let alone a singular soul. The audacity intrigued him - as well as slightly unsettled him in a way. His fearsome reputation as the god of Skypiea could make just about anyone tremble before him, without needing so much as a twinge of effort... So why wasn't it working on them? Was simple fear mongering not enough to ward them off?
He needed to take matters into his own hands - if this intruder wasn't scared of him, he'd make them be. One of Enel's priests arrived before him on his throne in the upper yard, babbling about the rumor of a trespasser docking the shore near Angel Island. His pinky finger stilled in his ear as he listened to his priest talk, an eyebrow cocking as he struggled on deciding whether to laugh or shake his head incredulously. Surely, this was an attempt to amuse him - and it almost worked, if it weren't for the dead serious expression written all over the priest's face when speaking.
"...Seriously, huh...?" Enel murmured, his tone bored but eyes narrowed with an unmistakeable hint of curiosity - a blessing, truly, coming from someone as mighty as him. When the priest nodded, offering to take care of the matter, he lifted a hand in the air that instantly drew silence. Multiple pairs of eyes were now locked on his own, blinking uncertainly at the intimidating moment of quiet - before tensions eased at the sight of a smirk growing across Enel's face. "Stand down... I'll deal with this one."
Enel was extremely curious to see for himself whether the intruder was brave, or simply just stupid. Most if not all parts of him expected them to just be an idiot, one of the many who have made the mistake of trespassing - but a small fraction of him hoped for someone more interesting. He rose from his throne with a casual grunt, tucking his golden rod underneath his arm on the off chance he'd need to use it. Given the place they had anchored, he assumed they were on track to reach Angel Island - he'd intercept them in the forest before they got the chance.
*His body trickled with electricity as he soared through the sky, a blur of sharp bursts of light while he squinted through the thick, forested treetops. It didn't take him long - of course it didn't - before he caught sight of the uninvited guest, traversing through the pathless greens with a certain edge of determination in their movements. Huh... They didn't* look stupid, at least. Enel lingered a little while longer above them in the sky, simply studying - before he finally allowed himself to drop down onto a thick branch for a better view.
*Watching for a while longer, it didn't take him long to gather that they knew what they were doing... Or, they at least acted like it. It proved to only intrigue him further - maybe this* would be an interesting encounter. And a one on one exchange, no less? Just when the figure bent down to inspect an imprint in the ground, Enel raised his voice. "I take it you're aware that this is private land?" His grin widened once they spun around, eyes locking onto his own with a mixture of surprise and guarded wariness. "Do you know who I am? How lucky you are?"
