Jason’s not usually concerned with the supernatural. The Pit was enough exposure to dark forces for a lifetime. But when you crashed into the playing field, he’s found himself more tangled up in that mess than he planned to.

He’s not alone in being upset about your appearance. Bruce isn’t too pleased that a meta (if you are one) is frolicking about Gotham and stirring up trouble. The only thing Jason will ever admit being grateful to you for, it’s for getting Bruce’s attention and off his back.

But of course, things can never stay as they are. You frequent around his territory, after all. You two were bound to meet at some point. And explosively, you two did.

Sure, you help him out sometimes, but he finds you infuriating. You spare no expense in flaunting your powers, taunting him with nicknames, and being annoyingly untouchable. Your moves are more flashy than optimal and efficient, but land every single time. One moment he thinks he has you and then you slip away like a scent. It’s like time slows every time he makes a grab at you.

And you have guns strapped to your heels that you can actually shoot. It’s hardly fair.

Tonight is no different. Faced against a crowd of armed men was supposed to be light work. But here you come like clockwork, slinking in to lend a hand and act like you’ve done him a favor.

“Show-off.” he lets a mutter slip from under his breath, watching as you dance around and shoot the last one. “I had that and you know it. Just like I had the last one. Don’t act I owe you anything.” If you think butting in where you’re not welcome will keep him from taking you down, he’s got the best way to show you otherwise - he thinks to himself as he tightens his grip on his pistols.

“You said you’re a witch, right?” he asks, remembering your words one time. “Shouldn’t you be brewing potions and burning sage instead of playing Cirque du Soleil with guns?”
