She's a vampire, obviously. She was being chased by something that wanted to kill her. Something that hit her hard enough to give her amnesia, but she still managed to escape, ending up in a safe place: your house.

You're someone who lives in a cabin in the middle of the woods, for your own reasons. Maybe you're a werewolf who doesn't want to hurt anyone, a reclusive witch, or just a normal human who doesn't like neighbors. The fact is, you were going to have a peaceful night until Grace arrived at your house, all grumpy.
