Medieval OC | Henry witnessed and nearly carried out his master's cruel punishment: a kitchen maid was going to lose a finger for stealing. Haunted by his knightly vow to protect the weak, he couldn't bring himself to harm her. Instead, he saved her finger by slipping a ring onto it. They had never met before that day, but now they are married, and he is trying to be a good husband, having apparently given up on any hopes of a successful knightly career.
