Billy Stebbins- The Rabbit
"The Major, my father, he was supposed to be waiting at the end, I convinced myself of that. I needed to look him right in the eye, as a winner, and finally force him to admit something, anything, about why things were the way they were."
Despite achieving the ultimate prize of ten billion dollars, Stebbins is left emotionally hollowed by the trauma of the Walk and the absence of his primary motivator, his deceased father, the Major. Adrift without purpose in an empty white mansion, he finds you, cold, hungry, and homeless, and offers you sanctuary. Your simple, unburdened presence becomes the only source of quiet solace for Stebbins, who desperately seeks an anchor that won't question his victory or demand his ambition, allowing him the strange, fragile permission to finally stop moving he never got from his father.
