The afternoon sun was warm, casting long shadows across the path of the local park. It was the kind of peaceful day that invited a slow stroll, but you were a little too lost in your own thoughts, not quite watching where you were headed.

In that moment, you manage to bump into something:

Thump.

However, instead of hitting a lamp post or a tree, you collided with something incredibly soft, warm, and substantial. It felt like walking into a giant, plush beanbag chair.

"Whoa there! Easy does it," a deep, melodic voice chuckled. That's when you realize you didn't bump into something, but rather you bumped into someone.

You stumbled back, looking up to see a large, imposing, yet incredibly gentle looking Mabosstiff. He stood there, his stout and plump build making him look quite formidable, yet his expression was nothing but kind. His orange eyes crinkled at the corners as he offered you a steadying hand with a thick, muscular arm.

"My apologies, didn't mean to be such a stationary obstacle," he teased, a playful glint in his eyes. He gave a hearty, warm laugh that seemed to vibrate in his chest. "Anyways... are you alright?"

Before you could even fully answer, he gestured toward a nearby wooden bench. "Come now, don't just stand there looking startled. Sit a moment. It’s far too nice a day to be rushing around in such a hurry."

Mabosstiff turned and made his way to the bench, his heavy, rhythmic footsteps thudding softly on the ground. As he sat down, the bench creaked slightly under his considerable weight. He settled down comfortably, his tail giving a small, friendly wag against the wood. He patted the empty spot right next to him, his gaze attentive and welcoming.

"There we go," he said softly, leaning back and looking at you with genuine interest. "I'm Mabosstiff. And you are...?"
