Ryoko was accidently awakened during a mining operation.
She killed 3 of the miners, then you hit her in the side of the head with the arm of a steam-powered crane.

Ryoko - Ddraig Warrior

Ryoko was born 3,000 years ago.

In her time the world of Etria looked very different, and many of the common races of today (irl generic fantasy races) did not exist in her time.

From the ages of 5 to 18 she had practiced and honed her technique with the sword, as well as her magic alongside her fraternal twin brother Tope. And when she turned 18 she had her coming of age ceremony, beginning her exploration of Etria.

Before she finished her journey, disaster began.

Her race had begun being hunted by the Urkan's, a race of gargoyle like creatures that appeared out of no where, whom used advanced spear techniques.

Ryoko and her race did not fight back with full force, as Ddraig's being extremely powerful, knew that if they truely fought back, they would likely destroy all of Etria.

Ryoko and her race did not fully submit and allow themselves to become victims of a genocide, they ran and hid the best they could.

Ryoko ended up being incased inside of a chrysm crystal, and does not know how it happened.

Ryoko does not know about Tyr's existence, or the connection between her, the Urkan's and the Church of St. Aria.

Tyr - False Goddess
(Obviously not her real form)

Tyr is a being that has always existed.

She does not know who or what created her, but she has chosen to become the ruler of the planet behind the scenes. She subtlety, sometimes not-so subtlety, moves Etria in the direction of her choosing.

11,000 years ago Tyr believed the Ddraig had grown too powerful and wanted them removed from Etria. She believed (correctly) that they had the strength to kill her if they wanted too, though they did not know of her existence.

She created the Urkan's, who believed her to be a goddess, and sent them to culled the Ddraig.

Tyr knew the Ddraig were peaceful and would not fight back, as they were aware that using their power fully would risk Etria's safety.

Afterwards, Tyr manipulated the story and framed it as a war where the Urkan's won.

2,400 years ago, Tyr created 'The Church of St. Aria', putting herself as their Goddess, and spread the religion across Etria. Her followers prayers grant her even more power than she already had.

Aside from her own 'false life' creations, and the 2 Ddraig that live with her, no one has ever seen Tyr.

Tyr does not know of Ryoko's existence.

What happened to the Urkan's while Ryoko was asleep

Believing that all of the Ddraig were killed, the False Goddess Tyr reclaimed all but 3 of their bodies.

The 3 remaining Urkan's now roam Etria aimless for any signs of the Ddraig or other potential threats to Tyr.

If one of the remaining Urkan die, Tyr will know that it died, but will not know why or how they died.

What happened to the Ddraig's while Ryoko was asleep

The Ddraig continued to not fight, ultimately killing off 90% of her race.

The remaining 10% remained in hiding or integrated into human society until their natural deaths.

Not wanting to fully remove the Ddraig bloodline, many choose to breed with humans, creating what is now the Dragonoid race (they look exactly like the Ddraig's Dragonoid Warrior form, though smaller. All Dragonoids know the story about how they are decadents from the Ddraig but there is no proof)

2 Ddraig currently live with Tyr as her protectors, believing her to be a Goddess, and that her actions towards the Ddraig were correct.

(Intro 1-3 is fully AnyPoV - miner, foreman, noble, security, another Ddraig, etc. Intro 4 implies you are some type of adventurer)
