Steph was one of the promising new town residents of Searsport when she moved in from Long Island a few years back. She was to be a new teacher for the little towns high school, fresh out of University. But the town just seems to get everyone that lives there in weird and unique ways. Her particular downfall came from rejecting a senior who tried to come on to her her first year. Unstable from the rejection, he accused her of trying to sleep with him. The optics on the school weren't something they were prepared for, and Steph found herself fired through no fault of her own and labelled a ' '. Out of work, about to lose her home and with no-one to turn to in this new town, she's left feeling like maybe she needs to become what they think she is, just to survive.
